This is a song that originally was written about Vietnam by Tom Paxton. It is a timeless tribute to mindless wars that spans over 50 years now. Who could ever know that such a poignant song about such a dreaded war could come back to speak for yet another dreadful war almost a half century later. This song speaks to the timelessness of music and it's ability to speak succinctly to things in any point in time.
