McDonalds use to be a place where you could get a good honest meal for a fair price. There was a time when McDonalds actually had staff that knew how to cook food and that management was not afraid to allow them to cook food. There was a time when Ray Kroc's philosophy of doing business was strong before his death in 1984. Unfortunately today McDonalds has become the bastion of guru marketers obsessed with the bottom line so much so that they have wasted a great American icon in the name of profits.
