A recent CNN article notes that debt collectors have gone even further in the gutter than they already were with respect to trying to collect bad and written off debt. The sad thing is, more often than not, debt collectors are the scum of the earth and always have been. The recent spike in illegal collection activities just drives the point home. The Right To Hold To Your Guns

Gun rights can be a thorny issue just as much as gun control itself. No one seems to know what a good middle ground is and extremes smoother both sides of the debate at times. Sadly the say, the Second Amendment is what it is and says what it says --that individual Americans have a right to own firearms and also have a right to form militias (one part of this amendment few talk about in the fervor over guns themselves). Harvard Case Spotlights Deportation Debate

Here is an interesting story on illegal immigration that highlights the complexties of this issue. It is my belief that people like those noted in this story (but also the dishwasher) should have a pathway to legal citizenship, not a roadway back to place they do not belong. The majority of these people are contributing to American society --not distracting from it.
