Democrats continue hammering GOP over Barton apology to BP

GOP senator Murkowski (Alaska) is right, the politics being kicked around in DC about BP needs to be put aside. The focus should be on cleaning up the spill and building a workable and fair compensation program for Gulf region residents affected by the spill.

If Democrats want  change, then they will stop pointing fingers and get to the business of government while the GOP will stop blocking efforts to hold BP accountable for what has happened and hold future entities that have a spill accountable. As for GOP rep. Barton --I think he speaks for himself and some others in his party but probably not the whole shebang. It is this kind of political wrangling thats Obama promised to change and that keeps congress from ever getting anything done more often than not.
