A Prescription For Bliss - Modern Psychiatry
Psychiatry is well known today for its deceptive, drug company induced marketing. Sadly to say too many real patients are lost in big drug company plans to shoot them up with drugs, many of which have horrid side effects and many of which actually affect honest real change in a patient’s well being. Below I encourage you all to listen to NPR’s interview with one doctor that well illustrates this sad but true practice.
So many patients go to doctors to try to improve their mental health and get out of the gutter of depression or other mental disorders. It’s sad to note that so many become pawns in the system and that the doctors treating them are so freely adaptable to these practices for a buck.
Psychiatry has become nothing more than a pawn of the big pharmaceuticals and so many people are left dealing with terrible side effects because of it.
